In 2011 Rhodes grass fodder was introduced in Pakistan to overcome the fodder requirement for large dairies of the Gulf. It has adapted very well to Pakistan’s climate and soil. By 2013 it is grown over 16,000 Acres in the southern Punjab and Sindh region. Fresh stock of our Rhode Grass is green in texture and is available in various sizes between 40-600KGS.
Rhodes grass can survive in drier places its rainfall requirement is about 600-750 mm per year.  Its ideal soil would be anything greater than a 4.3 pH level in terms of acidity. It is grazed, cut for hay, or used as deferred feed but it is not suitable for silage. Rhodes grass cultivation in Pakistan is a concise term.it is prepared in under one month.
